• Cell phones are not allowed in the classroom.
• Respect self, all members of staff and other students.
• Indecent language and name – calling are unacceptable.
• When visiting a school, persons should report to and obtain the Principal’s permission or other duly authorized teacher before carrying out the visit.
• Parents should not enter the school compounds and verbally or physically abuse any child or member of staff.
• Take care of school property.
• Parents should notify school of their children’s absence regardless of the length of time.
• Parents should dress in an appropriate manner when visiting the school.
• Boys are not allowed to wear long hair, pigtail or plaits. Earrings should not be worn to school.
• For all students- neck chains, bracelets, finger rings, ankle chains are not permitted in school. A wristwatch may be worn. Girls are allowed one pair of earrings at school's discretion. The school will not be held responsible for lost, broken or stolen jewellery.
• Check book bags nightly for homework, notes/messages from teachers.

12 of the last 15 Valedictorians of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School including this year's recipient, Arthur Ward, were all alumni of the Valley Primary School.
